The optical correction in a varifocal lens changes from top to bottom according to your distance and near prescription, and enables you to focus from distance to near, for example watching television to reading a book. There are invisible changes on varifocal lenses making them both optically and cosmetically superior to the bifocal lens where a distinct line can be seen.

Trying varifocals for the first time won't be a problem if you are worried about adapting to these lenses. Our lens manufacturers provide a 30 day non-tolerance exchange scheme making it a stress-free transition from one type of lens to another.
